Once you develop a healthy lifestyle complete with exercise and diet, you will have an easier time staying sober and staying healthy.

While in the midst of alcohol addiction, you develop an unhealthy lifestyle of drinking and often avoiding food altogether. Once you have detoxed and have the alcohol out of your system, proper nutrition will make you feel better physically as well as mentally. It has been proven that proper exercise and nutrition can also enhance your mood. Recovering addicts who do not engage in exercise and a nutritional diet program are more prone to relapse.
